Campey Contracting
In March 2005, Souters Sports Ltd acquired the contracting arm of Campey Turfcare.
Campey Contracting is operated from the Cheshire premises of Souters Sports Ltd. Since the acquisition of the contracting business, more specialised equipment has been available to us. This has helped us to offer a more diverse contracting service to the sports turf industry.
Although based in the north west of England, Campey Contracting maintains a strong national presence and the following are examples of some of the work we have undertaken for clients nationwide.
- Pitch renovation works at Mansel Park and Veracity Ground.
Client: Southampton City Council. - Hale Golf Club.
- Buxton and High Peak Golf Club.
- Blundells Hill Golf Club.
- Cheshire Polo Club.
- Leek Cricket Club.
- Port Vale Football Club.
- Sand spreading and fertiliser application to football pitches.
Client: Chorley Borough Council. - Koro Top Drain work on four football pitches at Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom.
Client:Bury Metropolitan Borough Council. - Root zone hydrojetting to 18 golf greens at Wrottesley Golf Club, Wolverhampton.
For this we used a Rogers root zone injector machine.
